On a private phone or computer you can stay signed in for 7 days without repeating JumpCloud MFA. Do not enable this on shared or public devices.
Forward calls
Enter an extension, E.164 number, or SIP address. All of your devices will forward inbound calls there (*72). Tap Forw again later to cancel (*73).
Transfer
Blind sends the caller immediately and rings all of their devices. Warm puts the caller on hold and rings the target so you can speak first, then Complete or Cancel. Voicemail skips ringing and drops the caller into that extension’s mailbox.
Help
These feature codes work the same on the UniPhone PWA keypad, Groundwire, and Yealink desk phones. Dial the code as the destination (or blind-transfer to it when noted).
Calling basics
Answer / mute / DTMF
Use the softphone controls (or the phone’s own keys on Groundwire/Yealink). Keypad digits during a call are sent as DTMF.
Hold / resume
On the PWA, Hold uses company hold music so transfers stay controlled. On Groundwire/Yealink, hold is the phone’s local hold.
Extension dialing
Dial a short extension (for example 209) to ring that person’s softphones and SIP devices, then company voicemail if unanswered.
Blind vs warm transfer
Blind sends the caller immediately. Warm (PWA) puts the caller on hold, lets you speak to the target, then Complete or Cancel.
Shared feature codes
*98 — Voicemail
Opens your company voicemail mailbox to leave a message (same central voicemail used when callers reach you).
*78 / *79 — Do not disturb
*78 turns central DND on (inbound calls skip your devices). *79 turns it off. Same as the Preferences toggle.
*72 + destination — Forward on
Example: *72209 forwards your calls to extension 209. You can also use an E.164 number after *72. Managed centrally for all your devices.
*73 — Forward off
Cancels call forwarding so your endpoints ring again normally.
*70 — Park
During a call, blind-transfer the caller to *70 (Yealink Park DSS or Transfer → *70), or use Park on the PWA. The parking agent hears the orbit (01–99); the caller hears hold music. PWA pills update immediately. Idle dial of *70 only announces — it does not park.
*71 + orbit — Retrieve park
Example: *7103 picks up the call on orbit 03 from any UniPhone client.
*8 — Group pickup
Answers a call that is currently ringing one of your shared groups (for example Operators), if you are eligible to pick it up.
*90 / *91 — Queue presence
*90 marks you available for queues; *91 unavailable. Same as “Available for queues” in Preferences.
Desk phones & Groundwire
Yealink speed-dial keys
Autoprovision loads feature-code keys (voicemail, park, pickup, DND, queue) plus your Quick Dial list. Presence monitoring is in the PWA Company directory, not classic BLF lamps. Blind transfer and attended transfer complete use SIP REFER to UniPhone; cancel during consult is local on the phone (hang up the consult / resume the held caller).
Groundwire Quick Dial
Export contacts from Settings → Voice endpoints / speed-dial CSV (when configured), or dial the same * codes from the Groundwire keypad.
Emergency calls
Do not dial 911 from UniPhone, Groundwire, or Yealink. Hang up and use your cellular phone.
Voice endpoints
Each phone (Groundwire on iPhone/iPad, desk phone, etc.) gets its own SIP credentials. Provision one endpoint per device. Password is shown once. In Groundwire set transport to tls (sip) (port 5061) and SRTP. Use your cellular dialer for 911.
